What's the Alaskan Wind Industries Stores returns policy?
Most store items under 1kW that have not been used or opened may be exchanged or refunded with a receipt within 90 days of purchase. Please contact AKWI @ 907-776-7664 for all larger systems.

Can I return a special ordered renewable energy system?
The AKWI team tries to support all returns. However all special ordered equipment will not be considered for return. please contact AKWI @ 907-776-7664.

Can I return my akwindindustries.com purchase to a AK Wind Industries store?
All merchandise sold and shipped by www.akwindindustries.com may be returned to a store within 90 days of receiving it, for most 1kW and smaller units that have not been opened or used.

Can I get my shipping cost refunded?
If there is an error solely on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for your order and any applicable shipping. If there is an error from the manufacturer or any other part of your order that is out of our control, these shipping costs will not be able to be refunded.

Do I need to return the item in its original packaging?
An item must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, with the manuals and all parts included. If product has been opened and used, items will not be allowed for refund.

What about projects already in construction? Refunds on completed construction, any and all shipping, wind turbines purchase (unless resold), consultation fees and any other costs occured for said project by the AKWI team are non refundable.
