This 15 kW wind power system is a grid connect type system and uses a windy boy inverter of 230 Vac 50 Hz or 240 Vac 60 Hz. This model uses a direct heating of 240 V AC and the rated RPM of this model is 150. The head weight of this wind turbine is 2425 lbs, and the system has a tilt-up mast that is tapered and self-supporting with no guy wires. The hub height of this model is measured between 49.2 and 82 ft. The estimated noise of this model at 11.1 and 44.7 mph wind speed is rated at 48 dBA and 65 dBA, respectively.
The Proven 32-5 wind power system is incorporates mechanical brakes for ease of operation. The annual output of its wind turbine is rated as 15,000–30,000 kWh. The special design of the wind energy system makes the wind blades bend to reduce the wind power in response to high rpm thus protecting the unit during high wind velocity and helping it produce power without interruption.
