Standard Steel Incorporated, DBA Alaskan Wind Industries installed this 6kW Proven Energy Wind Turbine for Palm Fisheries. This wind turbine is placed directly in between some large hills around the property allowing for a great wind tunnel in the winter & some summer months. Wind out of the South will be shaded during some of the winter months , however in the winter this wind turbine is going to produce some extreme wind power. With this wind turbine, tested in the antarctic & proven to produce great amount of power, we expect some great production on a yearly basis.
This small fishing company will be using some great incentives to help with the costs of this turbine as well. With the support of a 25% agricultural grant along with a 30% federal cash grant, this fishing family will be receiving a great payback on their new wind turbine. This couple also will be receiving another ~$4,000+ worth of incentives with the support of the AKWI financial team.
