Alaskan Wind Industries - 90ft Endurance Project








Standard Steel Inc, DBA Alaskan Wind Industries installed a 90ft hydraulic monopole Endurance 5.5kW Wind Turbine on September 23rd, 2010. This wind turbine produced 20kW in the first few hours of operation. The owner of this new endurance wind turbine is retired from the united states coast guard from the academy and enjoying his new wind turbine and his great return on investment. Lee and Patty Krumm will be using a 30% cash grant to be receiving a quick payoff of this unit and will be receiving approximately 90% of their consumption from this wind turbine.

With the purchase of this unit came a 5 year maintenance package from AKWI to help with an affordability of scheduled once a year visual review of unit. As a constant RPM unit, this wind turbine is extremely quiet and a high producer. Congratulations again to Lee and Patty Krumm on their new turbine and some great energy production!!!
