Bear Lake Lodge - Aleutian Islands Standard Steel Incorporated, dba Alaskan Wind Industries is installing this 6kW Wind Turbine for Bear Lake Lodge. This wind turbine is placed directly near bear lake lodge's air strip with minimum obstructions and no trees... its the Aleutian Islands!! With this wind turbine, tested in the antarctic & proven to produce a great amount of power, we expect some great production on a yearly basis. This famous hunting lodge that was started by Warren's father, Don Johnson will be using some great incentives to help with the costs of this turbine as well. With the support of a 25% USDA business grant along with a 30% federal cash grant, this hunting lodge will be receiving a great payback on their new wind turbine. This lodge will also be receiving another ~$4,000+ worth of incentives with the support of the AKWI financial team. With the costs of fuels rising and with the high cost to deliver fuel out in to this location, Bear Lake Lodge will be receiving a return on investment over 15% and a payoff on their investment within 3 years! |
